Description: HOVA-BATOR - WORLDS BEST SMALL INCUBATOR Hovers the eggs and gently warms them until they hatch, just like the mother hen. Invented by G.Q.F. Manufacturing Co. over 30 years ago, the Hova-Bator is still the WORLDS BEST SMALL INCUBATOR and the THERMAL AIR FLOW MODEL is the most economical, reliable incubator available. The radiant heat tube gently warms the inside of the incubator, the air and eggs. Thermal action of the heated air flowing out the exhaust vents in the top of the incubator, draws fresh air in through the bottom event. This thermal air flow also assists the drying of the chicks after they hatch. Although we perfected the inexpensive THERMAL AIR FLOW principal in the HOVA-BATOR incubator, there still remained a few inherent problems which require close supervision for proper operation, such as: Different temperatures for different size eggs, or Different temperatures for different climates, or Close Supervision when temperature outside incubator fluctuates greatly. To overcome these problems, we introduced "TURBOFAN" for CIRCULATED AIR FLOW (see product #2362n or 1583) operation in the HOVA-BATOR incubator (same principal used on commercial incubators). This increased air flow permits the incubator to be operated at one temperature for all sizes of eggs and all climate conditions, and holds a more uniform temperature. All incubator models will hold 120 small quail eggs , up to 42 large duck eggs. Thermometer, wafer thermostat and clear plastic bottom liner are standard equipment. Dimensions 18" X 18" X 7 1/2", 110 VoltAC, 25.3 Watt (220 Volt available for export).
Description: During incubation, eggs must be turned several times a day to prevent the yolk from settling to one side and to exercise the embryo.
